Cruise to the Pines 2012 - Web Exclusive
Perfect Poise’s Annual Cruise from Arizona’s Desert to its Northern Pines
When picturing the state of Arizona, most people envision vast deserts littered with cacti. However, there’s much more to this state, as evidenced by the beautiful Prescott National Forest, in Prescott, Arizona. In 2006, Arizona-based car club Perfect Poise decided to schedule an open cruise event from the Phoenix desert to the Prescott pines, and Cruise to the Pines was born. Since then, the 2½-hour cruise has become a yearly tradition, with this year seeing a record turnout of custom vehicles in every size, shape, and color. In addition to the scenic drive, this event also features a car show, raffle, barbecue, and nighttime drinks, pool, and dancing at the local tavern. If you’re in the southwest region and haven’t checked out the show, don’t miss next year’s event for a chance to see some cool rides and a different side of Arizona.
