Once You Go Flat, You'll Never Go Back
After thousands of requests-you asked for it-now you got it. Kustomshop.com introduces Hot Rod Flatz, winner of three SEMA 2006 international new product awards. HRF is a pre-flattened ready-to-spray low-gloss color with the desired 30-degree satin primer appearance. There's no confusion of how much flattener to add, it's already added for you. Just mix at the 4:1:1 color to hardener to reducer ratio and you're ready to spray. The new urethane system is easier to mix and spray, with much greater durability and chemical resistance. The gallon kit produces 1 1/2 gallons of sprayable material. Hot Rod Flatz is a fast drying two-component chemical- resistant urethane finish that provides excellent adhesion to properly prepared steel, aluminum, fiberglass, and OEM finishes. Hot Rod Flatz also contains UV inhibitors to protect your finish from fading and chalking like traditional primers. Now you don't have to be limited to just primer for a flat look. There are 36 traditional-to-wild Hot Rod solid colors and 20 metallic and pearl colors to choose from to customize your ride. A color chart is available at kustomshop.com, or for more information, call (858) 909-2188.

Man Gets Ticket For Changing Lights From Red To Green
Using a device called an Optican, a Colorado man was really busy changing red lights to green lights. The result was many years of getting to work quicker, and a $50 dollar fine. Jason Niccum says it was worth the fine, because for two years he used it daily.
The Optican is a unit that shines a strobe-type light that causes sensors on traffic signals to change immediately. This system is typically used for emergencies. The system can be fixed to eliminate outside light sources from effecting traffic lights, but it will cost some money; some serious money tax payers would have to pay. Knowing this, we can't imagine only a $50 fine was issued. We wish throwing sparks only cost $50 bucks.
