The time has come to put the call out for contestants for the 2011 Throwdown competition. Is your truck a contender or pretender? The 2011 competition is open to any entries, worldwide. International contestants must assume full responsibility for clearing customs and arranging transportation of their vehicle to our competition site by the start of competition. This year’s competition is open to any street-legal vehicle that could be considered a truck. That includes pickups, vans or SUVs. Only vehicles with longitudinal powertrains (Rear/All-wheel drive) will be considered. Sorry, no crossovers or minivans.

The vehicles will be subjected to five performance categories: Autocross, slalom, 0-60, quarter-mile, and 60-0 braking. In addition, vehicles will be judged on style and attention to detail. Deadline to receive entries is March 15, 2011.
