2014 Toyota 4Runner Pricing Revealed
What You Have To Pay to Play
Toyota Motor Sales has just announced its 2014 manufacturer suggested retail prices for the redesigned Toyota 4Runner as well as the 2014 Toyota Tacoma. Both vehicles will be hitting Toyota dealerships this month. The 2014 4Runner is loaded with tons of new features to go along with its new face-lift.
The 2014 Toyota 4Runner features a 4.0-liter, 270-horsepower V6 mated to a five-speed automatic transmission and either a part-time 4x4 transfer case or a full-time multi-mode 4x4 transfer case with a locking central differential, unless of course for some strange reason you don’t want 4-wheel-drive at all. The 4Runner also features a tried and true body-on-frame construction with comprehensive suspension technology which allows it to adjust to off-road terrain without sacrificing on road stability and ride quality. The 4Runner is also available in three grades: a well-equipped, value-driven SR5; top-of-the-line Limited, and a Trail grade for those who want maximum off-road capability. Optional third-row seats on SR5 and Limited allow for up to a seven-person capacity.
Both the SR5 and Trail grades will ride on 17-inch alloy wheels with a new and unique wheel-design to both, while the Limited continues to ride on 20-inch alloy wheels, which are now painted black prior to machining to add contrast. All grades continue to come standard with a full-size spare.
The new exterior colors for the 4Runner include: Super White; Attitude Black Metallic; Barcelona Red Metallic; and Nautical Blue Metallic. Blizzard Pearl; Classic Silver Metallic; Magnetic Gray Metallic; and Black are still available as carryovers from last year.
The MSRP for the 4Runner Trail 4x4 is $35,725, reflecting a 4-percent price decrease of $1,430. The new Trail Premium grade is priced at $38,645.
The MSRP for the 2014 4Runner SR5 will be $32,820 for the 4x2 model and $34,695 for the 4x4, an increase of $1,330, or 4.0 percent. The new SR5 Premium grade will be priced at $35,740 for the 4x2 and $37,615 for the 4x4.
The 4Runner Limited will carry an MSRP of $41,365 for the 4x2 and $43,400 for the 4x4.
