Vandemonium: 10 Custom 2014 Ford Transit Connect Vans Customized for SEMA 2013

Not Your Ordinary Delivery Van

Monica GondermanOct 25, 2013
Part of Ford’s 2013 SEMA onslaught includes Vandemonium, a cluster of ten modified 2014 Ford Transit Connect cargo vans and wagons customized in various ways by reputable shops and aftermarket customizers. The stars of Vandemonium – including Blood & Grease, CGS Motorsports, eJudged, Impulse Marketing & Media, K-Daddyz Kustomz, LGE*CTS Motorsports, Mobsteel, Pentech Automotive, and Strange Motion – creatively used the versatility and utility of the Transit Connect to create mobile workstations and displays aimed at taking families and businesses to the next level. As for the 10th customized Transit Connect? Well, we’ll have to wait until SEMA for its unveiling.
The Ford Transit Connect, launched in Europe in 2003 and North America in 2009, was named the 2010 North American Truck of the Year and 2014 International Van of the Year. The launch of the all-new 2014 Ford Transit Connect Wagon and Transit Connect cargo van is set for early next year. A van and a wagon? Yes, two models will be offered and are being customized for Vandemonium: the traditional panel-side cargo van, and an all-new spacious and fuel-efficient people-moving wagon with sliding doors and fold-flat seating for seven passengers.
We doubt it will be hard to spot these ten over-the-top Ford Transit Connects, as these cool and wild compact vans and wagons are certain to cause some, shall we say, Vandemonium. Check out the renderings below, as well as a few spy shots we were able to get our hands on!
Photo 2/17   |   Custom clothing company and subsidiary of The Aaron Vaccar Company, Blood & Grease’s Transit Connect cargo van will be transformed into a high-end fashion boutique. Hopefully they stock the Transit full of product, as this display is sure to wipe out inventory.
Photo 9/17   |   It is only fitting that eJudged, developers of electronic car show judging apps, turned their Ford Transit connect into a technology-loaded mobile hot spot ideal for car show judging.
Photo 10/17   |   Bakersfield custom automotive shop K-Daddy Kustomz fittingly created a graphic design mobile workplace.
Photo 11/17   |   LGE-CTS, well known for helping out with custom paint and body work on multiple Truckin projects, turned their Transit Connect Wagon into a top-of-the-line cross country cruising machine full of technology.
Photo 15/17   |   Mobsteel’s chopped and lowered Transit Connect cargo van, boldly promoting their Detroit Steel Wheel Company, should be nothing short of badass. Think it'll have some nice Detroit Steel Wheels?
Photo 16/17   |   Complete with two driving simulators in the back, Pentech Automotive tailored their Wagon toward the younger generation of gamers.
Photo 17/17   |   With room for six bikes and six people, Strange Motion’s Wagon can haul its BMX team cross country.
