Friday marked the fourth of six days of Barrett-Jackson auctioning in Scottsdale, Arizona. The most notable news for the truck world was that the 1956 Ford F-100 Shelby truck sold for 450K to benefit the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan. You’ll recognize this truck as KISS bassist Gene Simmons and his wife, Shannon Tweed’s “Snakebit” F-100, which was unveiled at SEMA 2013. This ’56 Ford, iconic in itself, pays tribute to the Shelby Mustang most notably through a 550hp Ford Racing supercharged 5.4-liter V8 with a 6-speed manual transmission. This beautiful PPG Enviro Ford GT Tungsten Gray metallic resto-mod pickup is packed full of custom treatment, including a 5-inch stretched wheelbase and a billet machined bed floor. This is one pickup truck we’d all love to take home.

Whether you agree or not, we’re showing you a few ridiculously beautiful Ford Woody Wagons in Friday’s auction coverage that sold for 128K and 77K. After that, a ’56 Ford F-100 sold for 104K, followed by a ’62 Dodge Power Wagon for 88K. The stunning Coddington ’48 Ford Cab Over went for 82K, which we would have expected. A cherry ’53 Ford F-100 sold for nearly 75K, followed by a ’71 Ford Bronco for 71K. The top-selling Chevrolet was “Tow Mater” for 68K; we’ll let you insert your own Chevy jokes here. However, right on its heels was another Chevy, a ’65 C10 that sold for a respectable 66K.

What’s your favorite truck from Friday?
