13,535 Nissan Frontier Trucks Recalled for Electric Issue

Erick Ayapana
Feb 24, 2014
Nissan is recalling a number of model year 2012 to 2014 Frontier pickup trucks due to a possible fire risk from a circuit breaker located within the A-pillar.
The Problem: According to Nissan, affected vehicles have a circuit breaker that may have been improperly installed. A metal bolt located in the A-pillar could come into contact and wear out the circuit breaker’s wire harness, which may result in an electrical short and fire.
The Fix: Nissan will inspect the affected car and make repairs if necessary, free of charge. The recall begins next month.
Number of Vehicles Potentially Affected: 13,535 model year 2012 to 2014 Nissan Frontiers trucks are included in the recall.
