Geiger Cars Builds Supercharged SVT Raptor

The Beast of Bling

Going fast in the dirt and the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor go together like peanut butter and jelly and with the off-road sport growing in popularity year after year, it’s no surprise that many aftermarket tuning shops have come out of the woodwork with performance upgrades for the popular SVT Raptor. The truck is probably the single most impressive truck in the history of trucks to roll off the assembly line. Heck, it actually was just able to squeeze through the assembly line despite its wider track width and flared fenders and bedsides.
Even more impressive is all the aftermarket support that has become available for the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor and the latest version to be built by a tuning shop is definitely a head turner. Geiger Cars, a German tuner, has just unveiled their latest version of the SVT Raptor which they have dubbed – ‘The Beast.’

The Beast might look like a lime green eyesore to most hardcore off-roaders (except BJ Baldwin fans who probably really dig it), especially considering it’s sporting a set of 37-inch Toyo Open Country Mud Terrain tires on a set of 22x10-inch wheels that feature a body color matched wheel lip. Sure they’re a bit much but for some reason, we don’t mind it as much as we probably should. Perhaps this is because the Beast is also packing a 2.8-liter twin-screw Whipple supercharger that Geiger Cars claims will gives the SVT Raptor a power bump up to 572hp and 525 lb-ft of torque which is just about sufficient enough to terrorize any terrain imaginable.

Although Geiger claims to have lifted the SVT Raptor a bit, it looks like they’ve kept it subtle enough to not ruin the truck’s off-road performance. The FOX Racing Shocks that are standard on all SVT Raptors was retained on the Beast but you’ll notice Geiger has added a rear-facing LED Light Bar mounted on a custom roll bar in the bed. We’re not quite sure why you would want a rear facing LED bar unless you wanted to blind tail-gators or distracted motorists on their phones but you probably shouldn’t test its light output unless you’re in camp.
If you’re into wildly-obnoxious looks and tons of power in an off-road truck you can beat the snot out of, and you’ve got super deep pockets – you can expect to pay 99,500 euros. That’s $137,000 American, which is still almost $6,526 more than if you bought both a Shelby SVT Raptor with 575hp as well as a 605hp Hennessey Velociraptor 600.

Good, bad or indifferent, Geiger’s Beast is sure to turn heads with its loud flashy lime-green paint job and matching 22-inch wheels wrapped in 37-inch rubber, but what is sure to make heads spin will surely be the Whipple twin-screw supercharger as it huffs in large gulps of air and lets all 575 horses scream down the road, trail, or even a mall parking lot!
