2015 Chevrolet Colorado Configurator Goes Live
Choose colors, available packages, and more.
General Motors has released a new online configurator that allows buyers to equip their 2015 Chevrolet Colorado, request a quote, and get a trade-in value for their old car.
The base extended-cab Chevrolet Colorado, which features a 200-hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder and a six-speed manual transmission, starts at $20,995 including destination. Substituting a 305-hp 3.6-liter V-6 adds $1235 while a six-speed automatic brings the price up another $650.
Mid-range LT models, which have starting prices ranging from $26,045 to $29,505 based on the body style chosen, feature a number of available convenience packages. The Luxury Package ($1080) brings heated front seats, single-zone automatic climate control, and chrome rear bumper and door handles. A $615 LT Convenience Package comes with remote start, EZ-Lift tailgate, front fog lamps, and a rear window defogger, while a $395 Safety Package adds forward collision alert and lane departure warning.
To increase the capabilities of their Colorado, buyers can tack on automatic locking rear differential and an available trailering package that allows towing for up to 7000 pounds. Outdoor enthusiasts can add GearOn cross rails with tiered storage, rack load stops, and cargo tie-down rings.
All Colorado models come with standard 4G LTE connectivity that turns the truck into a Wi-Fi hotspot. Standard colors on the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado include Red Hot, Red Rock Metallic, Silver Ice Metallic, Summit White, Black, Cyber Gray Metallic, Brownstone Metallic, and a Rainforest Green Metallic that costs $495 extra.
The 2015 Chevrolet Colorado will be available at dealerships this fall along with the GMC Canyon. Both trucks have been rated at 18/26 mpg city/highway when equipped with a V-6 engine and two-wheel drive.
