Porsche Exclusive Unveils Cayenne S Palladium Metallic
A special and golden Cayenne.
Porsche customers who want their car to stand out from the crowd turn to the folks at Porsche Exclusive, the automaker’s in-house customization department that can pretty much do anything to a vehicle. The 2015 Porsche Cayenne S Palladium Metallic is Porsche Exclusive’s latest creation, which also gives us our first peek at the new crossover’s interior.
Almost every exterior panel is painted in the golden Palladium Metallic hue, including the Porsche SportDesign body kit that's comprised of side skirts, a rear spoiler, and custom rear bumper. Other exterior touches include smoked taillight lenses, inner headlight housings finished in black, fuel filler cap with an “aluminum look,” and color-matched 21-inch Cayenne SportEdition rims.
Inside, the special Cayenne sports exclusive instrument dials finished in white, while the leather seats are finished in a two-tone color scheme (Agate Grey and Cream). Leather is also used to trim the floor mats, dashboard, steering column casing, air vents, ashtrays, door lever housings, grab handles, and sun visors. Meanwhile, the headliner is finished in Alcantara.
Aside from its exclusive sports exhaust system, the Porsche S Palladium Metallic doesn’t have any mechanical tweaks. As previously reported, the Cayenne S ditches its V-8 in favor of a 420-hp 3.6-liter twin-turbo V-6 that’s mated to an eight-speed automatic. Other models in the Cayenne lineup include a diesel, a plug-in hybrid, and a turbo.
