Saying Good Bye - MAXimum Exposure
Everybody wishes they could go back in time and tell the younger version of themselves a thing or two. I think I would tell my younger self to keep on keeping on. Throughout my 28 years on Earth, I have seen many things, been through many challenges, and in the end, it all seems to work out. Back in September 2010, I started as the associate editor of Truckin magazine. For the next two years, I would affectionately be known as New Guy. After a few changes at the magazine, I was promoted to feature editor, and we hired a new New Guy. I couldn’t have been happier. Well, in the past few months there have been more changes with the magazine and our parent company, and it has come time for me to move on to greener pastures.
The past 3½ years have provided me with some amazing memories, great friends, and a ton of experience. Before I go, I want to take a second to thank each and every one of our readers for giving me the opportunity to live the dream. Without you guys, there wouldn’t be a Truckin magazine, and I never would have been able to have as much fun as I had working for the magazine. I learned so much while working here, and I have you to thank. To all the friends I have made, I am surely going to miss the fun times at the shows and the photo shoots. You have all welcomed me into the brotherhood of trucks, and for that I thank you. Finally, I want to thank the person who gave me a shot back in 2010 and helped me learn and grow. Thank you, Mr. Ward. I appreciate everything. And finally, I have one last thing to say to everybody: Always remember to keep on truckin!
