2015 GMC Sierra 1500 Elevation Edition Starts at $34,865

2014 has been a fantastic year for GMC, with total sales up 12 percent year over year and the all-important benchmark of retail sales up 11 percent over 2013. Following its introduction in 2014, GMC is rolling out new special edition trims of the 2015 Sierra 1500, the first being the Carbon Edition, followed by the Elevation Edition. All Sierra 1500 Elevation models are based on the double cab configuration, available in 2WD or 4WD, and with the 4.3L V-6 or optional 5.3L EcoTec3 V-8 engine. Prices start at $34,865 for a 2WD V-6 model, or $35,960 for the 2WD V-8 model. Four-wheel-drive models add $3,930 to the total, bringing prices to $38,795 and $39,890 for the 4WD V-6 and 4WD V-8 models, respectively.
The Elevation features a street-smart style with a monochrome exterior paint treatment and 20-inch black alloy wheels. On the inside, it features GMC’s IntelliLink touchscreen interface standard, as well as including built-in OnStar 4G LTE Wi-Fi connectivity. Available colors include Onyx Black, Quicksilver Metallic, Sonoma Red Metallic, and Summit White. Options include a rearview camera, trailering package, and all-terrain tires. The 5.3L V-8 with the 3.42 axle ratio is equipped to tow up to 9,500 pounds.
