Ram Truck Invites Owners to Help Make History With Parade
500 Spots Open for Guinness Record for “Largest Parade of Pickup Trucks”
If you own a Ram, then you might want to plan on being at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Saturday, April 18. That’s the day that Ram Truck will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the Largest Parade of Pickup Trucks. The “Ram Truck Round-Up” will coincide with the 50th anniversary of the Academy of Country Music Awards, and parade participants will also receive two tickets to the ACM Party For A Cause Festival that evening.
Ram has slots available for 500 participants, who can sign up at www.ramroundup.com. To hold their spot in the parade, Ram owners must provide a $50 deposit, which will be refunded in cash when they check in for the event. In addition to the music festival, participants also get to rub shoulders with nine-time Monster Truck Racing Association Driver of the Year Mark Hall, and the Raminator monster truck will be on hand for some pretty fantastic car crushing.
Other partners expected to be in attendance will include Bosch Power Tools, Mossy Oak, Tucker Hibbert, Ram Rodeo, and Drury Outdoor. Those companies will offer giveaways to the first 100 participants to check into the event on Saturday morning, but all 500 Ram owners will have access to special perks from the partners.
It sounds like it’s going to be a lot of fun. Rallies like this are usually a great way to meet your fellow truck guys and bond over a shared passion, and Ram owners tend to be some of the most loyal truck owners in the market. Given that the event is essentially free (if you show up and get your deposit refunded), participating seems like a no-brainer, especially since you’ll get your name and your truck attached to a Guinness World Record.
