Venture RV Releases New Sonic Lightweight Travel Trailer
Sleeping for Six, Reasonable Curb Weight Combine in Tandem-Axle
This author’s favorite part of summer is camping and taking trips around the country, and there’s not much that gets other like-minded individuals as excited as a nice overland setup. Venture RV can help, thanks to a redesigned Sonic 234VBH lightweight travel trailer.
At 4,220 pounds, the Sonic is small enough to be towed behind many midsize crossovers and practically every conventional SUV, making it a great choice for lots of people. However, the low curb weight doesn’t necessarily equate to Spartan sleeping conditions. Seating and sleep space for up to six comes standard, with double bunks and a dinette that converts into a third bed. Additionally, the 82-inch interior height allows just about everyone to stand upright, greatly reducing the claustrophobia that can come with other small RVs.
A small living room features an entertainment center and a Murphy bed, and a kitchen pantry, refrigerator, microwave oven, and range cooktop improve off-road livability and comfort. Satellite and cable hookups bring television off the beaten path, and two interior décor styles provide some customization. Finally, a small four-piece bathroom gives the last word in modern comfort. An awning brings indoor living outside, too.
In all, the 26-foot-long Sonic 234VBH looks like a perfectly entertaining, relatively simple way to leave it all behind. We’d love to take one just about anywhere.
