4 Wheel Parts Continues National Renovation Initiative
Las Vegas, Houston Stores Showcased this Weekend
4 Wheel Parts, the nation’s largest retail chain of four-wheel-drive and truck accessories, continues its nationwide store renovation initiative with a grand reopening of its new Las Vegas location, as well as showcasing the renovations done at its two of its three locations in the Houston area. Each of the 70 4 Wheel Parts stores are scheduled to receive a similar makeover to the Las Vegas and Houston locations.
The reopening celebrations will include live radio broadcasts, music, and food, as well as hosting 4 Wheel Parts’ annual Ironman competition in which 4 Wheel Parts technicians from across the country and Canada compete in a contest that includes multiple stages of technical tasks, such as axle rebuilding, lift kit installations, and other tasks. Contestants are judged on speed and accuracy of completing the task. 2015 is the fourth year of the Ironman competition.
In addition to the store grand reopenings, Transamerican Auto Parts, 4 Wheel Parts’ parent company, recently doubled the size of its Coppell, Texas, distribution center and announced plans to open a new distribution center in the Pacific Northwest. Festivities will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Houston (13820 Westheimer Rd. and 1410 S. Loop) and Las Vegas locations.
