Watch KC Mathieu Stripe the Streets With his Blown 1968 Ford F100 in “Red Morning”
It doesn’t matter what canvas, KC Mathieu just likes laying stripes.
When the honey-do list shows up, there’s not a ton you can do about it—unless you’re KC Mathieu, with a 700hp 1968 Ford F100. The extra fury and speed makes the honey-do list a quicker task to finish.
Mathieu’s F-100, sometimes called the Frankenstein Ford, is definitely a handbuilt monster. A Ford Racing 5.0 Aluminator is blown by a Roush supercharger, directing that hellfire and brimstone through a Tremec T56 Magnum transmission and Eaton Truetrack differential. The result is 700 hp at the wheels and a wealth of tire smoke. Of course, the F-100 wears one of Mathieu’s own paint jobs.
Watching him thrash that F-100 makes us giggle like idiots—there are few sights in the world as beautiful as tire smoke rolling off the back of a truck cab.
However, when he’s not disturbing the peace, you can find Mathieu in the paint booth at KC’s Paint Shop, and you might see him moonlighting as Gas Monkey Garage’s master painter in the Discovery Channel show, Fast and Loud.
