2017 GMC Terrain Nightfall Edition Gets Midnight Style in Four Colors
GM Special Edition Train Still has Steam
Featuring blacked-out exterior trim and wheels, the 2017 GMC Terrain Nightfall Edition proves how committed to special products GM is.
Joining the Canyon Nightfall, the Terrain gets a treatment similar to its pickup sibling. Machined-face 18-inch wheels have gloss-black spokes, while the charcoal grille gets a gloss-black surround and accents. The front and rear fascias also get gloss-black accents, as do the side view mirrors and rear license-plate surround. Black roof rails complete the transformation. If we had a complaint about the Terrain Nightfall’s appearance, it would be the shiny passenger window surround. It stands out too much, especially considering the rear quarter windows and backlight don’t get the same flashy trim.
The Nightfall will be available on SLE-2 and SLT models, meaning each Terrain thus optioned will be well equipped. A standard Pioneer premium sound system comes packaged with Intellilink, and Onstar-based 4G LTE Wi-Fi comes along as well. Leather heated seats come on the SLT, as does a remote engine starter.
Although shown in Onyx Black, the Terrain will also be available in Summit White, Graphite Grey Metallic, and Crimson Red Metallic. While we enjoy all-black special editions as much as anyone, we think it’d be neat to see a red or white Terrain sporting the Nightfall’s blacked-out accessories.
