General Motors Expands Military Discounts to All Veterans Through May 31
Discount Program Now Eligible for Estimated 21 Million People
Expressing gratitude to our military veterans is a long-standing American tradition that often comes in the form of special offers or discounts. General Motors announced that through May 31 it will be expanding its military discount to all active service members, veterans, and their spouses, opening up the program up to potentially 21 million people in the U.S. The program is usually restricted to active-duty personnel, reservists, retirees, and their spouses within one year of separation.
The discount program is available for most GM car and truck models and can be combined with current incentives, rebates and special finance offers, potentially offering savings in the thousands. To check your eligibility and receive authorization for the program, visit gmmilitarydiscount.com and register. Once you receive your authorization number, present the number along with a copy of a current Leave and Earnings statement, Retiree Account Statement or discharge papers to a participating dealer.
If you have your heart set on an Escalade, CTS-V or ATS-V, unfortunately, all Cadillac models are excluded from the program, as are commercial vehicles. Most Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC models are eligible, with limited exceptions. Participants can purchase up to two vehicles per year under the program. Authorization numbers are good for 90 days after issuance.
