Ford Introduces Value-Packed STX Trim on 2017 F-150, Super Duty
Package Offers Popular Equipment in Competitively Priced Package
We’ve heard it plenty from you, our readers, and we’ve commented plenty on the inflated price tags of new trucks. Well, it seems like the manufacturers have started to hear us. Ford is offering the STX trim package on the 2017 F-150 and F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks. Essentially a half-step between the entry-level XL trim and the XLT, the STX package adds popular equipment and sporty looks to the truck without busting your wallet.
Equipment levels differ slightly between the F-150 and the Super Duty models. The package on the F-150 adds 20-inch machined alloy wheels, black billet-style grille with body-color surround and black mesh insert, a body-color front fascia and bumpers, the popular Sync 3 touchscreen interface with 8-inch screen, privacy glass, black sport cloth seats with a flow-through console and column shifter, STX decal, fog lamps, and manual driver and passenger lumbar support. The F-150 STX is available with the choice of the 2.7L EcoBoost V-6, the 5.0L V-8, and the 3.5L EcoBoost V-6. The package is available on SuperCab or SuperCrew configurations.
For the Super Duty, the STX package includes a chrome grille, chrome front and rear step bumpers, STX fender vent badge, unique alloy wheels, steering wheel-mounted cruise control buttons, bright wheel-hub covers, and an AM/FM stereo with a single CD player. The package is available in cab configurations on the Super Duty and on the F-250 and F-350 models. The package is available with either the 6.2L gas V-8 or the 6.7L Power Stroke diesel V-8.
Pricing for the STX starts at $36,810, including $1,195 destination, and pricing for the Super Duty starts at $36,105 for the F-250 and $37,275 for the F-350. Both models are available for order now.
