Ford F-Series Named Official Truck of NFL
Campaign Includes Uber on Demand Services, Super Bowl Sweepstakes
Trucks and football seem to go together like peanut butter and jelly. Following Ford’s announcement last week of a limited-edition Dallas Cowboys–edition 2016 F-150 comes the announcement today that the Ford F-Series is now the official truck of the National Football League (NFL). Ford and the NFL have entered into a three-year partnership. As the official truck, the F-Series will appear at various league events throughout the season. Kicking off the announcement, Ford is partnering with Uber to deliver tailgate party food, NFL merchandise, and game tickets with the F-Series in New York City. The “Built Ford Tough Tailgate Tour” will be coming to NFL games throughout the country, helping to deliver memorable fan experiences.
As part of the partnership, Ford will sponsor the “Built Ford Tough Offensive Line of the Week” in which the team with the toughest, smartest, most capable offensive line will be recognized. At the end of the season, one team will be recognized as the Offensive Line of the Year. Finally, football fans can enter a sweepstakes to win tickets to Super Bowl LI and a new 2017 Super Duty customized with their favorite team’s livery. More details can be found at nfl.com/ford.
