Ford Releases Limited-Edition Dallas Cowboys F-150
400 Models Include Unique Badging, Jerry Jones Signature Badge
There are few things more American than fullsize trucks and football. So what better way to commemorate both all-American traditions than with a football-themed pickup truck? That’s exactly what Ford is doing with its limited-edition 2016 F-150 Dallas Cowboys edition. Based on the XLT trim with the chrome package, the best-selling configuration of the F-150 in Texas, the truck features unique Dallas Cowboys Edition badging on the front doors, tailgate, wheel center caps on the 20-inch chrome-finished alloy wheels, blue-white-blue rocker panel color striping, a Cowboys-logo bed mat, laser-etched “Cowboys” doorsill plates, and Cowboys star stitched floormats.
The icing on the cake is a 1 of 400 interior badge signed by Dallas Cowboys team owner Jerry Jones. The limited-edition truck also commemorates the opening of The Star at Frisco, the Cowboys’ state-of-the-art training facility and future corporate headquarters of the Dallas Cowboys.
The F-Series is the best-selling fullsize truck in Texas, and the Lone Star State is the single largest market in the U.S. for the truck. This is not the first time that Ford has offered a Cowboys-themed truck, with the 1994 F-150 also being offered in a Cowboys limited edition. Like the 2016 model, it was based of the XLT trim. The F-150 Dallas Cowboys edition is available now at select Texas Ford dealers.
