FCA Teases 2016 SEMA Concepts – Power Wagon, Wrangler Among Them #TENSEMA16
Debut Will Be Livestreamed from Show
The annual Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show is less than one week away, and we’re already seeing a trickle of concepts from the OEMs released. However, some are holding back from giving everything away until the actual show. As usual, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles’ (FCA) Mopar parts and accessories division is going to have a major presence at the show and has given us a sneak peek at what might be coming. Based on the shadowy sketches the company has released, this year’s concepts will include a Chrysler Pacifica minivan, a Dodge Durango, Dodge Challenger, a customized Jeep Wrangler with what looks like a CJ nose, and a Ram 2500 Power Wagon with some sort of rear hoop over the bed.
No specific details were given on any of the concept vehicles. If we had to guess, at least one of them is going to have a version of the Hellcat supercharged 6.2L V-8, possibly more than one. The SEMA Show is also typically a showcase for newly released or currently available Mopar dealer-installed accessories. You can watch the livestream at this link starting 4:26 p.m. Pacific time, 7:26 Eastern on November 1 to watch the Mopar press conference and see the live reveal.
