Video: Ram Salutes Blue-Collar Workers in “Praise” Ad Spot
Spot to Air During Thanksgiving Football Games
Lately, FCA’s Ram brand has made a name for itself via memorable, impactful commercials.—the most iconic being the “Farmer” spot that aired during the 2013 Super Bowl. Ram’s plans for Super Bowl LI are unknown, but in the meantime, Ram’s 90-second salute to blue-collar workers, “Praise,” will air during football games on CBS and Fox on Thanksgiving Day.
The spot shows footage of various blue-collar jobs, including oil rig worker, fisherman, waiter, construction worker, janitor, and assembly line worker. The commercial also acknowledges the sacrifices and struggles of blue-collar workers with the voiceover line, “Praise the timecard, the union card, the green card, and the WIC card.”
Olivier Francois, FCA’s Global Chief Marketing Officer said, “‘Praise’ is the Ram Brand’s tribute to hard-working Americans and the story of people who are the backbone of our country. ‘Praise’ adheres to our marketing mantra of thinking boldly and making a difference in both the message and the way we deliver it.”
The spot was created in conjunction with Dallas, Texas–based The Richards Group. The agency was also behind the “Farmer” spot from 2013.
