Ford Reveals Photos of 2015 King Ranch Models at Houston Rodeo
15-Year History of Collaboration Continues
Ram may have the Laramie Longhorn and GMC the Denali, Chevrolet now has High Country, and Toyota has the 1794 Edition, but one of the best-known and most-respected trim levels in the truck world is undoubtedly the Ford King Ranch edition. For more than a decade, the King Ranch trim has represented flagship-level luxury and features on Ford trucks and SUVs. To commemorate the two brands' 15-year relationship, Ford commissioned Texas state photographer Wyman Meinzer to photograph a collection of the 2015 Ford King Ranch models, which include the all-new 2015 F-150, the Super Duty, and the Expedition.
Meinzer's photographs will be on display March 4-23 at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. The King Ranch trim still stands near the top of the trim hierarchy, but is no longer alone, with the F-Series now featuring Limited and Platinum trims. Nonetheless, King Ranch has the most "cowboy cred" with a significant 40 percent of Super Duty sales in Texas being the King Ranch model.
Updates for the 2015 Ford King Ranch model year include four new colors, including Caribou, Bronze Fire, Guard, and Ruby Red Metallic clearcoat. 2015 King Ranch models will give buyers the option of monotone or two-tone colors. The King Ranch models also feature the trim-exclusive interior color of Premium Mesa Brown leather.
