The King of the Hammers off-road race isn’t called one of the toughest single-day, off-road races for no good reason. Entering its third year, the 2010 King of the Hammers will take place at the Johnson Valley OHV area’s infamous Hammers Trails, with the race to commence on Friday, February 12. KOH combines rock crawling and desert racing for a one-day event that is technical and grueling, challenging off-roaders to use all the skills at their disposal. Prior to the race, there will be a weeklong schedule of off-road-related events in the area, including workshops, meet-and-greets, parties, and a vendor area. In all, the 2010 KOH event will run from February 8-13.

To make things interesting, the suspension specialists at King Shocks are offering a $4000 bonus prize to the winner, assuming they have King Shocks’ suspension at each corner. King Shocks will be on hand at this year’s race with its support trailer.
