Nissan's Newest Qazana Concept-Based Juke Set Debut at Geneva Show

Nissan confirmed today that its newest crossover, which will debut in March at the 2010 Geneva Auto Show, will be called the Juke.
Based on the Qazana concept that bowed at last year’s Geneva motor show, the Juke will slot below the larger Qashqai (the closest U.S. equivalent is the larger Rogue). Nissan says that it will be positioned as "an alternative to the traditional small hatchback."

Unlike the concept, which sported rear-hinged half doors, the production crossover will get four front-hinged apertures, although the concept’s rally-inspired front end should carry over. We hear front- and all-wheel-drive versions will be offered and that power will come from the Rogue’s 2.5-liter/CVT combo. Dimensions should be similar to the Qazana's 159.8 x 70.1 x 61.8 inches.
The Juke will be built alongside the Qashqai at Nissan's factory in Sunderland, UK. Nissan plans to release the complete skinny on the Juke on February 10, so stay tuned.
