The completion of a glistening black 2011 GMC Sierra Denali 3500HD marked the 13 millionth vehicle produced at Flint Assembly in Flint, Michigan.
Since 1947, the plant has assembled 4 million passenger cars, including the 1953 Corvette, Chevy Bel Air, Impala, and Monte Carlo. Nine million trucks have left the location as well; notable rigs include the Chevrolet Fleetside, Chevrolet/GMC Suburban, and the current lineups of Chevy/GMC trucks.
The 13 millionth truck -- called "Lucky 13" - is interestingly the 13th GMC truck owned by buyer James Stubbings.
