Jeep Rolls Out Over 60 Mopar Accessories for the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee
If there's any automaker out there who knows how much their fans like upgrading their vehicles, it's Jeep. It's no surprise, then, that Jeep already has a trove of factory aftermarket parts ready for the new Grand Cherokee through Mopar.
Old-school Jeep fans will be most interested in the functional exterior parts, including underbody skid plates, five extra wheel options ranging from 17 to 20 inches, aluminum side steps, a raft of rooftop carriers for anything you could want to haul and a factory trailer hitch with wiring. A number of dress-up parts are also available including chrome trim pieces, slash guards, wheel locks and a vehicle cover. There's even a new off-road ready, pop-up camper trailer available for the practical outdoorsman.
The fun doesn't stop at the door sills, either. You can cover them in brushed stainless steel with Jeep logos, for starters. Beyond the sills, accessory pieces include Katzkin leather seats, a rear-seat entertainment system, an iPod interface, shiny pedals, Uconnect with Bluetooth capability, mobile web and even mobile TV courtesy of FLO TV with 30 channels, a first for SUVs.
But wait, there's more. As you may have heard already, Jeep is offering a free app for your smartphone with vehicle information and will even send you an owner's manual condensed onto an easily-searchable CD.
