GMC Showroom Mobile App Hits the Market
Smartphones of all shapes and sizes are seemingly unavoidable wherever we go, and a growing number of its users can now do their shopping on the go. New vehicle browsing isn't exempt from this movement, so GMC is cashing in with the debut of the GMC Showroom Mobile App.
The initial application release is intended for Apple iPhone owners and allows shoppers to look at photos and videos, view GMC vehicle specifications, access a configurator, and make competitive comparisons. Should something tickle your fancy, the app can then search local dealer inventories, request price quotes, view current offers, and arrange a test drive. All of this GMC-oriented convenience could potentially be found in the palm of your hand.
"We recognize that smart phones play an important role in our customers' lives, including purchase decisions," said John Schwegman, U.S. vice president of GMC marketing. "The new GMC Showroom App provides our customers with the advanced technology they have come to expect of the GMC brand and the convenience to easily engage with their GMC dealer."
An Android version of the GMC app is scheduled to arrive in late July.
