Wyoming Trail Honored One of 2011's Most Outstanding
The Morrison trail located in the Shoshone National Forest in Clark, Wyo., offers panoramic views from almost every part of the trail, and that is why BF Goodrich tires has honored it as one of the 2011 Outstanding Trails.
In order to preserve its beauty, BF Goodrich Tires presented $4,000 in grant money to off-road enthusiasts and members of the Magic City 4-Wheelers -- a family-oriented OHV club that follows the Tread Lightly! trail ethic and takes responsibility by educating others on responsible use of off-roading trails. The club will use the money to continue conservation efforts to preserve one of the most beautiful areas for off-roading.
So, what makes the Morrison Trail so beautiful? Well, it has it all: Canyons, alpine forests, high mountain meadows, small lakes, and after mid-July, a sea of colorful and vibrant wildflowers. With the help of Magic City 4-Wheelers, they help can spread the word of preserving the beautiful landscape through their annual race rallies and monthly trail rides.
Throughout 2010, the Outstanding Trails program has named 24 off-road trails and 24 different clubs across the U.S. and Canada, and given over $90,000 in grants to support trail conservation efforts to keep off-road trails looking beautiful for everyone. Source: BFGoodrich Tires Outstanding Trails
