Spied! Hyundai Santa Fe Cold Weather Testing in Europe
Hyundai Santa Fe SUV spied in Europe
Our spy photographer caught a next-generation Hyundai Santa Fe SUV driving through the European Alps with a mini trailer. The tester has also shed some camouflage around the front fascia, which is more exposed than testers caught in the past.

The grille appears to combine the shape of the Hyundai Tucson and the chrome, waterfall effect found on the Sonata and Genesis sedan. Another interesting feature is the turn signal bar that appears to be slashing the side view mirror at an angle. Moving on to the side shows off a beltline that appears much more dramatically angled at the rear quarter window than the current model. The rest of the tester is still heavily camoflauged, though the LED taillights are somewhat visible.

This tester also appears much larger than the current model, though it's unlikely third-row seats will make a comeback in the Santa Fe since Hyundai has the Veracruz for that. The updated Santa Fe can't come soon enough. The current model has been around since 2007 and as we stated in our most recent test of the Santa Fe, it feels much like the old Hyundai.
