Michelin Publishes Yellowstone Park Travel Guide
Guide is Company's First Publication for a U.S. National Park
Other than its tires, Michelin is perhaps best known for its restaurant and hotel guides, and the coveted "Michelin Star" rating for fine dining restaurants. But the company's latest guide foregoes the fine linen and silverware to help travelers get in touch with the great outdoors. Michelin and Yellowstone National Park Foundation have joined forces to publish the "Yellowstone Park Foundation's Official Guide to Yellowstone National Park."
Michelin became the official tire of the foundation in 2009, making a multi-year commitment to help equip the park's fleet of trucks, earth-moving equipment and service vehicles.
The guide is 106 pages, and features information on tours, time-maximizing itineraries, insider tips, as well as sightseeing and shopping recommendations. The guide is available for pre-order today at www.shopmichelin.com for $9.95 plus shipping, and will be available on-site at the park starting May 15.
The Yellowstone National Park Foundation is a private charity that does not receive government funding, and works in cooperation with the National Park Service to help fund projects and programs that help preserve, protect and enhance the visitor experience at the park.
