2013 Lexus GX 460 Price Increases $200, Starts at $54,120
Many of Lexus' new models, including the RX SUV are undergoing a cosmetic makeover with Lexus' new "hourglass" fascia. But the 4Runner-based GX 460, soldiers on into the 2013 model year unchanged, with the exception of a modest $200 price increase on the GX 460 and GX 460 Premium models.
The GX's last comprehensive makeover was for the 2010 model year, which included a new 4.6-liter, 301 hp V-8 replacing the previous model's 235 hp 4.7-liter engine, and more refined styling. Lexus' Enform multimedia interface also appeared with the 2010 model year. The 2011 model year received Smart Stop technology that would cut engine power if the accelerator and brake were applied simultaneously.
The 2013 GS sedan and LX fullsize SUV both received the Enform AppSuite, but the GX will not get the AppSuite initially, which includes apps that work with smartphones including iHeartRadio, OpenTable, MovieTickets.com and Pandora.
The 2013 Lexus GX 406 starts at $54,120, with the Premium model going for $59,115, including an $875 destination charge.
