The Problem: In extreme cold weather conditions, the front moonroof glass could break, creating a distraction hazard and possibly causing cuts and injuries to the driver and front passenger.
The Fix: VWOA will notify affected owners, and the front glass panel will be replaced at no charge. The safety recall is expected to begin in August. Owners can contact Volkswagen at 800-822-8987, or NHTSA's Vehicle Safety Hotline at 888-327-4236.
