Edward A. SanchezJul 17, 2012
Ford is recalling 783 of its medium-duty F-650 and F-750 trucks for a faulty bond between the windshield and the cab, potentially causing the windshield to separate from the cab. The clear and black primer may be missing from some of the windshields, causing the poor bond to the cab.

The Problem: The clear and black primer may be missing from windshields of the affected models, resulting in a poor bond to the cab. This could result in the windshield glass separating from the cab, causing potential injury.
The Fix: Ford will contact owners affected by the recall, and replace the windshield. Owners can contact Ford at 866-436-7332, recall campaign # 12S33, or call NHTSA's Vehicle Safety Hotline at: 888-327-4236.
Number of Vehicles Potentially Affected: 783 2012 Ford F-650 and F-750.
