Ram Channels Retro Theme for Texas Parks Guide Ads
Ads Feature Four Models Aimed at Outdoor Enthusiasts
As the exclusive automotive sponsor of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Outdoor Annual Hunting and Fishing Regulations guide, Ram is drawing inspiration from 1930s-era WPA National Parks posters as a way to showcase its trucks against the backdrop of some of the state's most picturesque destinations.
The four ads feature the Rio Grande Valley, Balanced Rock, Enchanted Rock, and Lighthouse Rock with the Ram 1500 Mossy Oak Outdoorsman, Ram 2500 Power Wagon, Ram 1500 Lone Star, and Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn.
The illustrations were done by Anderson Design Group of Nashville, Tennessee, a company recognized for its efforts to revive classic American poster art. The ads will appear in the 2012-2013 editions of the Regulations guidebook, which will be distributed to more than three million Texas outdoor enthusiasts starting in mid-August. Those interested in purchasing postcards or prints of the ads can buy them on the 'Lifestyle' section of the Ram Trucks Web site, or the Anderson Design Group's site.
