2007 Chevrolet Equinox, Pontiac Torrent Fuel Pump Module Recalled

Oct 3, 2012
General Motors is recalling 2007 model Chevrolet Equinox and Pontiac Torrent models for a faulty fuel pump on vehicles sold in Arizona, California, Nevada, and Texas. All 2007 Equinox and Torrent models were equipped with GM's 3.4-liter LNJ OHV V-6 producing 185 hp and 210 lb-ft of torque.
The Problem: General Motors is recalling 2007 Chevrolet Equinox and Pontiac Torrent models originally sold or currently registered in Arizona, California, Nevada, and Texas. These vehicles have a faulty return port on the fuel pump module, which may crack and could cause a fuel leak.

Number of Units Affected: 2007 Chevrolet Equinox and Pontiac Torrent models originally sold or currently registered in Arizona, California, Nevada, and Texas.
