2013 Range Rover Gets Il-Lumma-Nated
Brand's Latest Flagship Gets the Tuner Treatment
The 2013 Range Rover is barely starting to roll off the line in Solihull, England, and already we're starting to see custom styling and trim packages for it. Lumma Design, based out of Winterlingen, Germany, has shown its offerings for the new SUV flagship, with something to please those who want to increase performance, or just look the part.
Lumma starts the transformation with the CLR R body kit, consisting of a restyled front bumper, extended side skirts and wheel arch flares, widening the body by two inches. A special Lumma Design vented carbon-fiber hood is available either un-painted or body color.
To roll in style, Lumma offers 22-inch wheels wrapped in 315-30-22 tires. An available sport suspension module lowers the ride height by 1.5 inches. But the package is more than just about aggressive looks. Lumma tunes the supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 from 510 to 540 hp, with further 20-hp bump available bringing the total to 560 hp. Letting the blown V-8 exhale is an available stainless sport exhaust.
For the interior, Lumma offers a customization package with two-tone leather, carbon-fiber trim, and aluminum sport pedals. Pricing was not announced for the upgrades, but if a 2013 Range Rover is in your budget, popping another five figures for upgrades shouldn't be an issue.
