2014 Acura RDX Prices Announced, Start at $35,415
Prices Up $210 Across the Board, New Color
The 2013 Acura RDX was a major change from its 2012 model year predecessor, going from a turbocharged four-cylinder to a naturally aspirated V-6, as well as completely new sheetmetal and interior. But changes for the 2014 RDX are limited to a new color choice, and an across-the-board price hike of $210.
The base model front-drive RDX starts at $35,415, including the $895 destination charge, which is up $10 from 2013. Moving up the ranks, a front-drive RDX with the Technology Package goes for $39,115, the all-wheel-drive RDX starts at $36,815, and the topline AWD with the Technology Package is yours for $40,515.
The other news for 2014, aside from the price hike, is a new Kona Coffee exterior paint, replacing last year's Amber Brownstone.
Aside from the color change, the 2014 Acura RDX remains largely the same as last year's model, with the naturally aspirated 3.5-liter SOHC 24-valve V-6 with 273 hp providing power. No word if or when the RDX will receive the new Earth Dreams direct-injected 3.5-liter engine offered on the 2014 RLX sedan; and MDX three-row crossover will be offered as an option, but possibly for the 2015 model year.
