2014 Toyota Tundra Pricing Announced, Starts at $26,915
Range-Topping Platinum, 1794 Edition Start at $48,315
In addition to a new interior and updated styling, the 2014 Toyota Tundra is going to have one more selling point -- a price cut on some of the more popular models.
Though the base price actually goes up by $465 to $26,915 including $995 destination charges, Limited CrewMax Tundras will cost $1900 less for 4x4 models and $2000 for 4x4 models while SR5 models powered by the 5.7-liter V-8 will cost the same while, per Toyota, receiving $650 worth of additional equipment.
The new 1794 Edition will cost the same as the Platinum, so the two trims will share the top perch in the Tundra Lineup. For 2014, the Platinum gets a price cut of $850 and will start alongside the 1794 at $48,315.
In all, Toyota says that the 2014 Tundra is on average $263 cheaper than comparably-equipped 2013s -- a rare occurrence in this day and age. All 2014 Tundra models go on sale later this month.
