2014 Dodge Durango Pricing Starts At $30,790
Standard Eight-Speed, Paddle Shifters, Improved mpg
Several months ago, we got our first look at the 2014 Dodge Durango, somewhat of a surprise, as the prevailing sentiment is that Dodge's three-row SUV would be phased out in favor of a revived Jeep Grand Wagoneer. While that may still eventually happen, the Durango is still around and gets a host of upgrades for 2014, chief among them an eight-speed automatic across the board, LED taillights, and styling updates inside and out. Dodge released pricing for the 2014 Durango, which will start at $30,790, including $995 destination, for the entry-level SXT model.
In addition to the SXT, four other models are moving up the Durango hierarchy to satisfy buyers' needs for more bells, whistles, or performance. The Rallye model features a dual-outlet exhaust and an additional 5 hp for the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6, and adds 20-inch Hyper Black alloy wheels, body-color grille, front and rear fascias and wheel flares, black headlamp bezels, and a standard power driver's seat. The Rallye starts at $33,985, including destination.
The Limited model adds LED daytime running lights, an 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen display, power-folding signal repeater mirrors, heated first- and second-row seats, 12-way power driver's seat with memory, 10-way power adjustable front passenger seat, rearview camera, and a 115-volt AC power outlet. The 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 is optional on the Limited and Citadel trims, and standard on the R/T. The Limited starts at $36,990, including destination.
The Durango R/T model is the performance flagship of the Durango line, with the 360-hp, 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 standard, sport-tuned suspension, 20-inch wheels and tires, red interior accent stitching, 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen display, a 506-watt, 9-speaker audio system, and standard power liftgate and HID headlights. The R/T starts at $39,990.
The topline Durango Citadel features standard heated and ventilated front seats and heated second-row seats, touchscreen, and voice-activated navigation, streaming Internet radio, automatic high-beam headlights, rain-sensing wipers, and power tilt-and-telescope steering wheel. The Citadel trim starts at $41,990.
