Brabus B63 S: Because the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6x6 Wasn’t Insane Enough
Leave it to the Germans to Find a Way to Get Four Tons to 62 mph in Just 7 Seconds
Meet the Brabus B63 S, a four-ton goliath created out of the already insane Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6x6. The German turner says the b63 can get to 62 mph in just 7 seconds -- a claim we’d LOVE to have the opportunity to validate given its 37-inch tires and over 16 inches of ground clearance.
To give this beast that kind of performance, the mad scientists squeezed an extra 170 hp and at least an extra 140 lb-ft of torque out of the G63’s 5.5-liter twin-turbo V-8, bringing output to a whopping 700 hp and over 700 lb-ft of torque.
Not much was done visually to the exterior besides some red accents -- after all, what can be done to a six-wheel G-wagen that won’t ruin it (memo to Mansory: stay away!)? -- but the interior gets bathed in crimson, which pairs extremely well with the black paint.
With even the G63 6x6 being basically unobtainium for mere mortals, it’s not really worth the effort to speculate about the price of the B63. Perhaps a virtual one? Time to get some video game people on the horn…
