"Breaking Bad" Jeep Grand Wagoneer, Pontiac Aztek snapped up in Auction
Car Stars of Emmy-Winning Series Don't Fetch Much Moolah
The experience of being a celebrity might be priceless, but you can certainly put a price on Hollywood memorabilia, and in the case of the Emmy-award-winning series "Breaking Bad," you can own one of the several vehicles that starred in the series. Among the series' star cars are Skyler White's Jeep Grand Wagoneer and Walter White's Pontiac Aztek.
The Jeep fetched $11,250, from a starting bid of $7500, and the Aztek was sold for $7800.
One of the only items that didn't sell was an explosion-damaged wheelchair used by character Hector Salamanca. The automobiles may not have fetched a premium, but a jacket worn by one of the characters sold for $4200 and a copy of Walt Whitman's "Leaves of Grass" that became a major plot point went for a cool $65,500. That could fetch a maxed out Ford SVT Raptor and a few hundred gallons of gas!
ScreenBid.com has items used on-set of many current and upcoming TV series and movies, including the apocalyptic comedy "This Is the End" starring Seth Rogen. You can check the latest auctions at the ScreenBid website.
