When Ford releases a spec sheet with items like a 125-gallon fuel capacity, the ability to run on algae-based biodiesel, and a 9-inch suspension lift kit, then there's a good chance that vehicle is headed to the 2013 SEMA auto show. Those aforementioned specs belong to the Ford F-350 modified by EcoTrek, which is just one of six F-Series trucks headed to Las Vegas next week.

With a 50-gallon tank under its bed and a removable 75-gallon tank in the bed, the Ford F-350 modified by EcoTrek has an estimated range of 1800 miles. The 6.7-liter V-8 can run on normal diesel, biodiesel, and even algae-based biodiesel. Treks off the grid are more than feasible thanks to a rooftop shelter, refrigerator, stoves, solar panels, and plenty of storage for supplies.
