Potter, who would become an instrumental staffer of sister magazine Wheels Afield, introduced the idea of truck-based design advances supplementing automotive products of the future. In retrospect, the ideas presented seem a bit quaint, but he was foreshadowing the huge crossover market that developed decades later. We present for your enjoyment, his original two-page article.
