Ram Adds New “RV Match Brown” Two-Tone to Laramie Longhorn
Earth Tone Added to Complement Popular Travel Trailer Color
One of the main activities facilitated by a fullsize pickup truck is towing. Whether it’s a smaller travel trailer, a fifth-wheel condo-on-wheels, or horse trailer, pickups make it possible to tour or transport across the miles. While few would consider trailers a fashion statement, if you’re spending that many hours and miles on the road, you might as well look good doing it. That’s what Ram thought when coming up with its new color scheme for the Laramie Longhorn models for 2017. The brand is adding “RV Match Brown” as its two-tone accent color for 2017, replacing White Gold in the color palette. The color matches a popular accent color offered on travel trailers and fifth-wheels. The new color complements Bright Silver, which remains available as a two-tone accent color for 2017.
The accent color is offered on Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 Laramie Longhorn models and will be available starting in the second quarter of 2017. Primary colors available with RV Match Brown are Black Forest Green, Bright Silver, Bright White Brilliant Black Crystal, Delmonico Red, Maximum Steel, Pearl White, and True Blue. Other changes for 2017 include the 6.4L Hemi V-8 as standard on 2500 and 3500 Laramie, Longhorn, and Limited models, and the Ram block-letter billet-port chrome grille. Ram 1500 Longhorn models get Keyless Go, SmartBeam headlights, and rain-sensing wipers standard for 2017.
