Truck Trend is heading out on a Rogue Trip! #RogueTrip
Scavenger Hunt on Steroids, With a Charity Twist
Truck Trend is heading out on a #RogueTrip on April 9, courtesy of Nissan USA and the 2017 Rogue. We’ll be racing nine other teams from our starting point in Nashville, Tennessee, to the finish line in New York City, with various challenges and obstacles along the way. If we win, we get $5,000 to donate to the charity of our choice, which is the Wiseburn Unified School District in El Segundo, California.
Follow along with Truck Trend Social Media Editor Stephanie Wilcox and Staff Editor Brett T. Evans as we vie for top honors in several categories, such as the Bizarre Eats Challenge, Funniest Bumper Sticker, Most Unique Wildlife, and Most Historical Monuments Visited. Our antics will be documented on all of Truck Trend’s social media properties, including Instagram (@TruckTrend), Twitter (@TruckTrendCom), and Facebook (Truck Trend). And remember, part of our success depends on our social reach, so be sure to like and share our posts.
The Truck Trend team chose the Wiseburn Unified School District for many reasons. For those that don’t know, our magazine is headquartered in El Segundo, a suburb of Los Angeles. Our home office is right in the heart of Wiseburn Unified School District, a K-12 public school district that focuses “on the academic, social, and physical needs of the whole child while emphasizing community participation,” according to its mission statement. Wiseburn USD partners with a variety of different organizations to help its students succeed, including DirecTV; Mattel, Inc.; Los Angeles World Airports; and Northrop Grumman. Since the district does so much to help the kids in Truck Trend’s backyard succeed, we felt it only fair to do what we could to give back.
