Ram Adds Mid-Year Paint, Trim Changes to Rebel, Limited Models
Delmonico Red Now Available On Rebel, Monochromatic Letters on Limited
Ram, ever the master of limited edition trims and appearance packages, mixes things up once again halfway through the 2017 model year for its pickup line, at the Houston Auto Show, the largest metropolitan area of the single largest pickup market in the U.S., Texas. The popular Ram 1500 Rebel is now available in Delmonico Red, added to the current six color options. The color will be available as a full body color or a two-tone with lower black trim. The color is a no-cost option that will be in dealerships starting in May. Advanced ordering for the new color is open now. In addition, the Rebel now has available leather seating surfaces without the usual Rebel "tire tread" pattern.
The Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 Limited models will now get available monochromatic body-color “RAM” tailgate lettering as an option over the standard chrome lettering. Also available on Ram Limited models are body-color cab-length running boards. The Ram Limited with the monochromatic appearance package starts at $54,660, including $1,395 destination charge. The body-color tailgate letters and running boards are available separately at $195 each. The Ram 1500 Night model also offers available body-color running boards, starting at $40,280, including destination.
An all-new Ram 1500 is expected to be shown soon as a 2019 model.
