'69 Ford Bronco Goes From Beaten to Boss
Episode 5 of The Lifted Life Features a ’69 Ford Bronco Rebuild
The Hill Family and Five R Trucks do not disappoint in the new episode of The Lifted Life, where a ’69 Ford Bronco is taken from beaten to boss by Steve and the crew. The guys also stop by Bandimere Speedway in Morrison, Colorado, where rigs were throwing it down at the drag strip for the 2017 Diesel Power Challenge.
The Lifted Life is based out of Golden, Colorado, where we get up close and behind the scenes of some of America’s biggest, baddest, and sometimes outlandish 4x4 builds.
Episode 5 features Steve and an old rusty bucket of a Ford Bronco as it takes on a new life as a tricked-out and trail-ready 4x4. The old Ford was treated to an entirely new look, inside and out. The flaking paint and cancerous rust were replaced with Line-X’s new Ultra Coating, and the Bronco was fitted with a roll cage, heavy-duty winch, and beefy off-road tires to make sure it can conquer the trails. Tom’s Bronco Parts helped out with the suspension kit and with the expertise to round out this rig.
Under the hood, the crew nested a rebuilt 357 Windsor with Trick Flow 190 heads, cam, manifold, intake, and roller rocker arms, as well as a Vintage Air front drive system.
This truck will be featured at SEMA and will also compete in The Battle of the Builders. Stay tuned, and make sure to check out The Lifted Life on Discovery Communication’s Velocity Channel.
