Chevrolet Introduces 2018 Traverse SUP Concept for SEMA – #TENSEMA17

Bow Tie Highlights Redesigned Crossover with Stand Up Paddleboard Accessories

Oct 25, 2017
The 2018 Chevrolet Traverse will make its debut at the 2017 SEMA Show in the form of the slick SUP Concept. Outfitted for outdoor adventures, this version of Chevy’s newest fullsize crossover features marine-inspired accents and custom touches intended to target the popular sport of stand up paddleboarding.

Most fittingly, the Traverse SUP comes with a roof-mounted Thule stand up paddleboard carrier and Riviera paddleboard, along with “Blue Wave” bodyside graphics that are giving us serious Miami Vice flashbacks. The SEMA crossover also gets concept Dark Gray fascia and rocker trim, Gloss Black bodyside moldings, darkened foglight bezels, and tinted windows.

The Traverse SUP’s black grille insert, black bow tie emblems, and black aluminum wheels measuring 20 inches can give any Traverse crossover a little added visual aggression, as those pieces are available from Chevrolet Accessories. Other dealer-installed bits found on the SUP include side steps, a trailer hitch kit, all-weather floor liners, illuminated sill plates, a cargo liner, and headrests embroidered with the Traverse script.
Chevrolet will bring another 20 vehicles to the 2017 SEMA Show in addition to the Traverse SUP Concept, and we’ll be on hand next week to see them all. Be sure to follow all of our Las Vegas adventures using the hashtag #TENSEMA17.
